The current website uses local storage for one preference: remembering whether a visitor selected light or dark mode. The storage key is rydder-theme. The site also uses ordinary technical functions needed to deliver its pages and assets.
Contact buttons use mailto: links that open the visitor's email application. Those links do not set cookies. The current website source does not include analytics, advertising, or marketing scripts.
Service pages direct visitors to the project intake form. The current website source does not include embedded payment-provider scripts or payment-provider cookies.
3. Technology Categories
Strictly necessary
Technology required to deliver, secure, or operate the website. The current site does not require a visitor account.
Preferences
Local storage remembers the selected light or dark theme so the choice remains after a reload.
Analytics and performance
These tools would help measure site usage or diagnose performance. They are not currently installed in the reviewed website source.
Marketing
RydderDevelopment.com does not currently intentionally use marketing or advertising cookies.
4. Your Choices
Visitors can use the header toggle to change the saved theme. Browser settings can display, block, or clear cookies and local storage. Clearing local storage resets the theme to the website default on the next visit.
A separate consent banner is not currently shown because the reviewed website does not load analytics, advertising, marketing, or other non-essential tracking technology.
5. Future Analytics or Marketing Tools
If analytics, marketing scripts, or other non-essential technologies are added, this Cookie Policy and the Privacy Policy must be updated before or when those tools go live. Any legally required notice or consent control must also be implemented before the tools are activated.
