The material edit / 01

Three materials.
One quiet language.

Warm stoneware, tactile cloth and close-grained wood meet through proportion rather than perfect matching. Each piece is described with material, scale and care in full.

01

Ceramics

Thrown and built forms with layered, touchable surfaces.

02

Textiles

Washed fibers, visible weave and generous everyday scale.

03

Wood

Grain-led objects turned, carved and finished by hand.

Piece 01 / Low Tide

A serving bowl that leaves room for the hand.

The translucent oat glaze pools softly over speckled stoneware; the altered rim carries evidence of making while the broad interior remains practical for shared food and simple display.

“A useful object earns its character slowly: at the table, by the sink, in the hand.”
