Keep good objects in use

Care by material.

Start with the specific instructions listed with each piece. These general notes show how clear care guidance can extend everyday use.

Ceramics

Avoid sudden temperature change and impact at the rim. Hand washing is gentlest even where dishwasher use is listed.

Textiles

Wash cool with mild detergent, reshape while damp and accept the relaxed creasing that belongs to linen and wool.

Wood

Never soak or machine wash. Dry promptly and renew food-safe oil when the surface appears pale or dry.

Variation is not damage

Tool marks, glaze movement, grain and small shifts in woven pattern are expected parts of small-batch objects. Damage and return eligibility are assessed separately.
