The Cedar Vale porch
A weathered entry regains a secure edge and the character of its original proportions.
The brief
The main entrance had to remain usable. Loose railing sections and soft painted trim needed attention without changing the roof, green door or oak porch posts.
The considered details
A new timber railing follows the existing rhythm while repaired trim receives a compatible white exterior coating. Work is sequenced across five weekdays with a protected walking route and stated cure time.
